What this site is

SeeGoEat is a personal travel guide curated by Kevin Hawkins. It is a static website — there is no backend, no database, and no user accounts. No personal information is required to browse the site.

Data we collect

We collect no personal data from visitors. Specifically:

• No sign-up, login, or account is required.
• No cookies are set by this site.
• No analytics scripts (e.g. Google Analytics) are loaded.
• There is no contact form or submission mechanism on this site.

AI Search

The "✦ Ask AI" search feature sends your typed query to the Anthropic API to generate recommendations. When you use AI search:

• Your search query and the site's place index are sent to Anthropic's servers to generate results.
• Anthropic may log API requests per their own privacy policy.
• No query history is stored by SeeGoEat itself.

If you do not wish to use this feature, simply use the standard text search instead — it runs entirely in your browser with no external requests.

Third-party services

This site loads the following third-party resources:

• Google Fonts — typefaces (Playfair Display, DM Sans) are loaded from Google's CDN. Google may log font requests per their privacy policy.
• Anthropic API — used only when you click "✦ Ask AI", as described above.

No advertising networks, tracking pixels, or social media embeds are used.

Local storage

This site may use your browser's localStorage to remember your last-viewed city or UI preferences. No personally identifiable information is stored there. You can clear it at any time via your browser settings.
